A Summer Dance Camp of Musical Theatre, Dance, and Fun!
The Southern California Dance Academy has been the pioneer of summer dance camps for younger children in the local area. Since 1993, SCDA has offered a fun-filled summer dance camp where dancers as young as 5 years old can learn different dance styles, create sets and scenery, dress up in costumes, and perform a daily show for friends and family. Each week, our dancers decide on a musical, fairy tale, or movie and rehearse dances in that theme; some creative dancers can even choreograph their own dance! Our flexible dance camp allows parents to enroll their dancers for one day, one week, or for the entire three-week camp; no one needs to miss out on the fun! Each week, the camp culminates in a performance for friends and family.
Camp Dates
Monday, June 17– Wednesday, July 3 from 9am until 2pm
The camp is closed on Thursday, July 4 & Friday, July 5 - the third week is discounted.

Featured Dance Classes
Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Belly Dance, Swing, and Lyrical Dance.
Approximate Daily Dance Camp Schedule
9:00-9:15 - Student arrival and Morning Warm-up
9:15-10:15 - First Dance class of the Day
10:15-10:30 - Snack time
10:30-11:30 - Second Dance class
11:30-11:50 - Lunch
11:50-12:15 - Group games
12:15-1:00 - Arts & Crafts
1:00-1:45 - Rehearsal for daily showcase
1:45-2:00 - Daily performance for Parents & Friends
Dance Camp Fees
Fee includes dance classes, costume use, and arts & crafts materials. Students bring their own snack and lunch (refrigerator & microwave on-site.) Please wear dance attire or comfy clothes.
